Twin sisters Ineke and Anke are the two eldest of Engelandvaarder Jan ter Doest’s five children.
Ineke is a psychologist, with a degree in science journalism, living in The Netherlands. Anke is an art historian living in England. Together they are digging into the remarkable past of their father to reconstruct the missing pieces of his life changing journey during World War 2.
A book is in the making based on a true story about war, hope, adventure, dreams, courage, luck and will power. In our Blog we will outline the historical background for the story.
